In May 2012 he was appointed to the board of the Union Bank of Colombo. He is a stakeholder of an upcoming apartment complex in Colombo. The developers named "The One" market their luxury apartments to Sri Lankans living abroad and foreign investors. Alexis Indrajit Lovell is listed as shareholder of Ben Holdings which has recently acquired 60 percent of shares in EAP Broadcasting Company which operates the television channel Swarnavahini. Lovell is a past pupil of St. Patricks' College, Jaffna, Sri Lanka.

With a solid foundation in Healthcare Management, he has served as CEO and Senior VP of Operations in leading U.S. hospitals, earning multiple awards for excellence and quality. His earlier career with Motorola, Facebook, and Tata Communications strengthened his expertise in IT, marketing, and strategic leadership.
